1. Who We Are

Bridge2Aero, Inc. (“Bridge2Aero,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) is a nonprofit organization that introduces youth and young adults to aerospace and aviation career pathways through hands-on learning, mentorship, simulation, and STEM exploration.

This policy explains what information we collect through our website at bridge2aero.org, how we use it, who we share it with, and the choices you have. It applies to this website. It does not apply to third-party websites we link to.

2. Information We Collect

Information you give us directly

Information collected automatically

We do not collect sensitive categories of personal information (such as health, biometric, or financial account data) through this website.

3. How We Use Your Information

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information. We do not use your information for third-party advertising.

4. Children’s Privacy

Bridge2Aero serves youth, including children under 13. We take this seriously.

This website is directed at a general audience — primarily parents, guardians, educators, donors, and partners. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 through this website.

Where a program requires information about a minor, we collect it from a parent or legal guardian, with verifiable consent, through our enrollment process — not through this website. Guardians may review the information we hold about their child, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it at any time by contacting us using the details in Section 11.

If we learn that we have inadvertently collected personal information from a child under 13 without guardian consent, we will delete it promptly.

Where we work with schools or districts, we may also be subject to additional student-privacy obligations, and we handle student records accordingly.

5. Photography and Media

We sometimes photograph or record program activities for educational and promotional purposes. We obtain written guardian consent before capturing or publishing any identifiable image of a minor, and consent can be withdrawn at any time. Contact us and we will remove the material from channels we control.

6. How We Share Information

We share personal information only in these circumstances:

Donations are processed by a third-party payment processor whose handling of your payment information is governed by its own privacy policy.

7. Cookies

We use cookies that are necessary for the site to function and to process donations securely. You can configure your browser to refuse cookies, though some features — including the donation form — may not work correctly if you do.

8. Data Retention

We keep personal information only as long as needed for the purpose it was collected, or as long as required by law. Donation records are retained as required for tax and accounting purposes. Contact-form messages are retained only as long as needed to respond and maintain our records.

9. Data Security

This site is served over HTTPS, and we use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards to protect personal information. However, no method of transmission or storage over the internet is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

10. Your Rights and Choices

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to request access to the personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct or delete it, object to or restrict certain processing, or opt out of communications. To make a request, contact us using the details below. We will not discriminate against you for exercising these rights.

You can unsubscribe from our emails at any time using the link in the email or by contacting us directly.
